Here’s what I want in 2006:
- I want Patrick Fitzgerald to indict Rove and name Cheney as an unindicted coconspirator in the Plame leak.
- I want a Special Prosecutor appointed to investigate the Niger Forgeries and our involvement in them. Since Patrick Fitzgerald will be available by then, he’d be just a fine choice.
- I want Congress [Specifically Congress] to hold hearings about the wiretapping of the U.N. and American citizens. The reason I want the Congress to do it is that Bush said they authorized it [and they didn't] and it is a direct breaking of laws Congress enacted.
- I want everyone with any common decency to set their eyes on the midterm elections. I don’t care who gets elected, just that they are sane Americans who care about the fate of our Union.

Haven’t thought about my *resolutions* or wishes for next year YET. (Did manage a “Year in Review” - thanks to the insipration of Dr. Abby.)
