Yesterday, Kennedy was talking about John Kerry in 2008. Newt Gingrich was prattling on about 2008 too. I’m thinking that 2008 isn’t where we need to be focusing right now. I propose that the Presidential election of 2000 remains our highest priority. Until we parse out the gigantic mistake we made back then, we may well be held in the grips of the forces that can make it happen again. This mess isn’t something to just "put behind us," it’s something to understand in as much detail as there is to understand. We don’t have another one of these in us…
