about Peace…

I was just perusing the cyberspace for reactions top Gore’s Nobel Peace Prize. Everytone is asking if it means he’ll run for President. Al Gore didn’t need a Nobel Peace Prize to run for President. His credentials stand on their own yesterday as strongly as today. It’s one of those silly things newsmen write to fill their columns. I looked at some of the reactions on the Right. There’s a monotony that suggests that a Talking Point was disseminated. "Of course, the prize has nothing to do with Peace…"

I’m not sure why they bother to even say that, it’s so absurd. The question of global warming is so big that it encompasses the whole world. Only by having a world that can pull together and agreee on a rational plan can we do anything about global warming. It encompasses population control, industrialization, automobiles, oil, energy, wetlands, forests. It involves simply everything. The only way to achieve the kind of world cohesion needed to rise to the challenge is through peace. By pointing out the "Inconvenient Truth," Gore’s Campaign is the biggest call for peace ever sounded – peace for a reason…
