I didn’t retire in order to be obsessed with National Politics. That came later thanks to the rape of America by George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Four years ago when I retired, I cut a deal with my wife. If she would live in our "weekend cabin" in North Georgia and pretend it was a house, I’d travel with her to those places she’s always wanted to go. Since then, we’ve been to Alaska, China, Peru, the Galapagos, Mexico, Nova Scotia, Eastern Europe, and lots of places in the U.S. [including Graceland, Graceland – Memphis Tennessee].
So it’s time to pack again because Tuesday we’re off to Kenya and Tanzania for three weeks. Hold down the fort and make sure that Washington D.C. is very carefully watched. If you need to remember why, read this over and over…..

Have a wonderful time but try to be careful because your blog is important to me and others that really love our country for what it really standed for before Bush ruined it’s justice for all and for making our soldiers lives and their families lives a living hell with the Iraq War..
