… here in Pickens County, Georgia:

While Democrat Barak Obama appeared to have won the statewide election Tuesday, in Pickens, the 2,186 Democrats overwhelmingly chose Hillary Clinton giving her 64 percent of the votes here. The 5,072 Republicans voters the statewide trend choosing Mike Huckabee with 37 percent of the local vote, followed by McCain with 31 percent. In all 7,222 Pickens voters went to the polls Tuesday, giving a 48 percent turnout…
A big Democratic turnout for a place that’s only voted for a Democrat twice in its 150 year history: F.D.R. during WWII and Jimmy Carter…
