Nice! It’s good to know she’s really singing again.

WOW, Abby. Two firsts, for me. I’ve heard a lot about your singing from your parents, but I had never heard you befire — except sort of, way back when you were in the childrens chorus and I was in the ASO chorus. What a wonderful voice you have — so rich and clear. I’m glad you’re keeping up your singing.

The second first is this: I’ve never seen The Messiah danced before. Don’t know why not; it’s very dancable music.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful video, Michey.

Hey! I’m on your blog. That’s kinda fun. Man, I’d forgotten how nervous-making it is to try and sound healthy on purpose for a whole week in a row. I’m glad I survived it, and I’m so glad you could make it. Thanks so much for planning for it.

I didn’t know you were in ASOC, Ralph! I was in that for 5 years!

Abby, my time in the ASOC was from the beginning around 1970 until about 1984, so I’m guessing your time in the chorus came after that. I do remember once though that we did something with a children’s chorus (the Mahler 8th?) and your Dad told me that you were in it.

INCORRECT! I sang the 1986-1987 season as a high school senior. I was the youngest in the choir.

As a child, I was in Boito’s Mephistopheles and pretty much every Christmas concert.
