the Chilcot Inquiry…

Posted on Thursday 18 August 2011

Tony Blair is to be officially blamed over his decision to involve Britain in the disastrous Iraq War, it was reported yesterday. The Chilcot Inquiry is expected to lay out four main criticisms of his conduct.
    • Top of the list will be the bogus claims that were made about Saddam Hussein’s access to weapons of mass destruction.
    • The former prime minister will be held to account over keeping his own Cabinet in the dark with his ‘sofa government’ style.
    • He is set to be castigated for not telling the British public about his secret pledge with George Bush to go to war.
    • And it is believed he will be criticised over his failure to plan for post-war chaos in Iraq once Saddam had been overthrown.
The report by Sir John Chilcot, former permanent secretary at the Northern  Ireland Office, is due out later this year.
This blog did not start with a focus on the pharmaceutical takeover of psychiatry. For over four years, I was focused on the sad state of our government and our illegal and immoral invasion of Iraq. My interest changed after Bush and Cheney got on that helicopter and flew into the sunset, but was revived when the British decided to actually look at what their government had done by joining up with the US to invade Iraq. It was called the Chilcot Inquiry, and most of the UK and a few Americans like me watched it live as officials from the entire government were paraded in front of the cameras. It was reality drama at its finest. The report is coming soon [above]. Former PM Tony Blair is going to be appropriately skewered, even though Bush and Cheney have largely been forgotten. I hope the report is at least mentioned here. They purposefully stayed away from condemning the US too much, but it’s very easy to read between the lines. The debacle of our invading Iraq does not need to be forgotten…

Did you hear about the ~300 million dollars they just “lost” that was on a pallet they shipped to Iraq? Seriously. Did you know that terrorist groups bid on and WON hundreds of millions of dollars more in contracts? They got paid; they either did work that failed all inspection or they never did the work at all. A million dollars buys a lot of bullets to fund your enemy, when you have a war you don’t want to end. Politicians without a war to fight are pretty much useless to the herd in general. Almost all of the money we spent in Iraq ($250,000+ per guided missile) was borrowed as trade deficit from China. Brilliant; thank you George Bush- I wish someone would hog tie you and Cheney and drag you to the Hague to stand trial as the war criminals you are. Cheney actually has a warrant out. If he leaves the fascist states of amerika, to visit the best parts of the world, he will likely be arrested for the crimes I just spoke about. And what of the Constitution and its clause on treason? Cheney/his office outed a CIA operative because her husband told the truth; the truth that the Administration was lying us into war. Punishment for treason is DEATH. Why is Cheney not hanging from a rope? Why are he and Karl Rove (evil incarnate) working for FOX “news” as “correspondents” now? Lots of dots. You add them up. If you ever want to see the picture of Saddam Hussein and Donald Rumsfeld shaking hands (over a weapons deal including the WMD stamped “made in the USA”) I will show it to you.
