We are sad that Mandela has died, but happy for all that he has done and that he died at home with his family after 95 yrs.
By some cosmic coincidence the U of M Faculty Senate voted today by 67-23 to pursue an outside investigation of the Markingson affair. This is yet another example of how one man – Carl Elliott – can make a difference by justifiable outrage at a horrible situation and perseverance in pursuing it.
