Ironic, isn’t it, this year’s first day falls on a Friday so we have the alleged three day weekend, to do what, shop, bop, and drop.

Are you ready for another year of the same old stuff? Watch what logarithmic prescription price increases will do to the middle class. Affordable Care Act?

No, the Insidious Care Less Agenda. What will you write about once about 6 months into the year people have more morbidity and mortality because they delay care interventions as they can’t afford it?

Yeah, that guy in the White House transforms America. But, the debate will stay on studies, APA misdeeds, and other concerns that will empower the masses to rise and, do what?

Did you read the Whitaker article about what Antipsychotics might really be about in chronic use? You probably have, and not surprised.

Here it is if anyone else is interested, I note it not because I fully agree with it, but, there are truths there, just the messenger is not so unbiased and objective:

    http://www.madinamerica.com/2015/12/timberrr-psychiatrys-evidence-base-for-antipsychotics-comes-crashing-to-the-ground/

Do you know that I write about 5% of my prescriptions in private practice for antipsychotics, and keep them low and never write for multiple meds in this class for a patient.

Amazing how I CANNOT do so in CMHCs, as my predecessors have paved quite the brick road for these folks. It is not yellow thought, and certainly not to OZ. But, hey, as a temp, what can I really do, when my successors will almost certainly tell those patients I tried to wean and coalesce meds that I was an idiot, and what do Mortimer and Randolph Duke in “Trading Places” shout out once they find they were tricked by the Eddie Murphy and Dan Ackroyd characters?

“Go back and SELL, SELL, SELL!!!”

    Enjoy the three day layoff…

Thank you, for continuously boring into messy psychiatry, medicine and corrupt pharma, doing more than your share to enlighten your readers and relieve us of any left-over innocence as to what those engines run on. Men’s greed for gold. Happily you are not alone, but in a steadily growing company of honest professionals and survivor experts speaking out on irresponsible, dangerous, deadly practices built on sand. This house cannot stand. What will stand are the seeds of good deeds. Keep boring! Happy new year!
