a breakthrough…

I saw the Ann Coulter interview on CNN that everyone is talking about:
COULTER: [W]e just want Jews to be perfected, as they say.
DEUTSCH: Wow, you didn’t really say that, did you?
[…]
DEUTSCH: Ann Coulter, author of If Democrats Had Any Brains, They’d Be Republicans, and if Ann Coulter had any brains she would not say Jews need to be perfected. I’m offended by that personally.
Actually the most offensive part to me was when she asked "You’re not a practicing Jew, are you?" She later said "Want to go to church with me?" She talked about the wonderful time she had speaking at megachurches. I’ll bet she doesn’t wear that dress she had on on T.V. – long tank top at best. But that’s not the point I want to make. I felt none of the rage she’s induced in the past. I didn’t race to write something. I was actually bored listening to her. I used to let her get to me. This time, I wondered why Deutsch had her on his show. If it was to raise ratings, maybe he could paint a board and we could all listen to the paint dry together. I’ve made it beyond Ann Coulter at last – a true breakthrough…
