The gross illogic here is obvious, "People who follow the Geneva Conventions are not concerned with protecting Americans". I presume that he’s hoping for a Terrorist Attack so he can justify his Torture, Domestic Spying, his War in Iraq, his secrecy, and his thinking. And if there is a dramatic Terrorist Attack, he’ll be poised to say, "See I told you so" and his premise will be that closing Guantanamo caused it. And Rush and Fox News will jump on board, and John McCain will be interviewed scowling. As far as I’m concerned, we’re having a Terrorist Attack right now, from the last Administration and their remaining Congressmen and Media.
