It looks as if Representative Mark Souder [R-IN] had an affair with one of his Staffers, Tracy Jackson, so he’s resigning. The video on the left is from an earlier time when he was extolling the virtues of Abstinence Only sex education [Whoops! it disappeared from Youtube right after I posted it][Later: Another version is up]. That day, he was mad at the people that named the hearing he was talking about [and other things]. Oh yeah, the nice looking girl interviewing him in the tape is Tracy Jackson – the one he had the affair with. The tape on the right is his resignation speech today. He’s mad at people who have their wives stand by them when they resign. He’s mad at the poisonous atmosphere of Washington that makes it impossible for people like him to have a life or clear their names. Apparently he’s avoiding an ethics investigation by resigning, though the charge isn’t clear…
