I guess we should’ve known that it was coming, but it’s sure hard to listen to. The whine from the right is an unending barrage of talking points – Rush, Fox, Glenn, Boehner, Michelle, Sarah. And it’s being countered by the progressive whine that Obama isn’t progressive enough – more creative that the one from the right, but equally draining. The blogs sound like reverse engineered TEA Party rants these days. The Gulf is filling up with oil. New York is melting in a heat wave. The Recession lingers. Lindsey Lohan is off to jail. And I never really liked soccer anyway.
So I’m heading for Maine where there’s no cable and one can slip across the border if the whine reaches that far north. I need some quiet…
