…from a weekend retreat with no t.v., no news, no computer. The only fact from the outside world was that U.G.A. lost another football game [in Georgia, we have definite priorities]. To Vanderbilt! I looked through my Bloglines, and thought of the line from an old "being gone" Joni Mitchell song:
Sittin’ in a park in Paris France,
Readin’ the news and it sure looks bad.
They won’t give peace a chance.
It was just a dream some of us had.
But it was better than that today. Best I can tell, we’re still in the game [Fingers crossed]!
Great song. Sadly, peace does seem to be a dream.
