what was goin’ on…

In Washington, the only thing worse than having to testify before a grand jury is not being asked to. I never wanted to go to prison or make hard choices about protecting my sources, but I thought I’d get more out of my bit part in the Valerie Plame saga than the overheated scrutiny of a few bloggers.

Finally, a candid article by a reporter – one with a sense of humor, and a bucket full of truth. After all, it’s the job of a reporter to ‘report.’  John Dickerson was on that Air Force One trip to Africa after Joseph Wilson’s oped piece was published, July 6th, 2003. He saw the scrambling, the ‘hints’ about Wilson’s wife, the C.I.A. taking the fall for the ’16 words,’ all of it. And if you have any slight question about the Administration’s coordinated effort to smear the Wilsons, this article will lay it all to rest. They all knew what was going on. All of them knew all of it.
