Sen. Jon Kyl of Arizona and Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina have been up to no good in an attempt to fraud the Supreme Court on the Hamdan decision. It’s really one that only lawyers will understand totally – but it involves inserting bogus dialogue in the Congressional record – then acting as if it were part of a real debate in the Senate in trying to influence the Court’s handling of the case.
The summary by John Dean is touted by Christy Hardin Smith [Firedoglake] to be the best explanation. It was almost understandable by me, at least enough to know that it was outrageous behavior for a Senator, to the point of being a criminal act. These people are sleazy!
