I know there are lots of people who listen to them every day, but it seems like their message is superfluous. If the Democratic victory succeeds in bringing the Iraq War to any kind of resolution, either directly or by tempering Bush’s non-policies, and if there are even the most superficial investigation of any number of the Bush Administration’s sheenanigans, the rhetoric of these nasty people is going to begin to smell like three day old fish. Their power is in the specter of a kind of Liberal that hasn’t been seen around these parts in some time and is unlikely to be seen in the near future. The vote this week was as much a vote against these pseudo-pundits as the Bush Administration. We’re going to miss them, but it’s really time for them to go – hopefully from lack of interest and relevance. We’ve had all the self promoting, divisive, sarcasm we need for this whole century…
