I’ve had further thoughts about the Bolton nomination. If that’s the game, I think the best way to deal with President Bush and Vice President Cheney for the next two years is ignore them. Who cares what they think, really? They’ve run around playing Mr. God and God Junior for six years. Most of their ideas have been destructive, divisive, or irrelevant anyway. Why not get busy doing the work of Congress and not be distracted by their imperious sheenanigans? They haven’t earned the right to be as much trouble as they are. So, Congressmen might as well stop listening to them. The Constitution doesn’t say that anyone has to listen to the President or the Vice President.
