Libby’s Story: Although Vice President Cheney mentioned that Joseph Wilson’s wife, Valerie Plame, worked for the C.I.A. in the Counterproliferation Division on June 12th, Libby forget all about it until Tim Russert mentioned it on July 11th in a phone call. The Story so far in the Trial: So far, we’ve heard from any number of people that Libby not only knew about Valerie Plame, he was actively researching the matter, and spreading the word.
