During a public conversation in Texas last night with former Bush pollster Matthew Dowd, Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) media adviser, Mark Mckinnon, displayed “maps of the states broken down by electoral votes” that gamed McCain’s chances in November. According to Texas Monthly’s Evan Smith, “the printed header on both” maps “read ‘Karl Rove & Co.’” Rove has previously been reported to be “informally advising” McCain’s campaign. During the chat, McKinnon also revealed that “McCain would be happy to have Bush campaign with him in the fall” and “that he had no intention of running from Bush.”
Karl Rove is appearing almost daily as a tele-pundit. Is it fair for a person employed by a Presidential Candidate to appear on T.V. as a political analyst [Not that we are slightly fooled by the political analyst designation]? There are no boundaries with this bunch. None…
