A lot of you have been in the camp that thinks Hillary Clinton is hurting the Democratic Party for some time. I just got there today, in earnest. I voted in the Primary for Obama, but I only decided late and the deciding factor was his vote against the Iraq War. I liked them both. Her racing towards the fire set on Obama’s "bitter" comment with a gallon of gasoline has done it for me. Bosnia sniper attacks got me close, particularly when Bill exhumed the topic, but it took her recent playground politics to make the call. The only trajectory for her right now is downward – whether she’s nominated or not. Sadly, it was hers to lose, and she lost it. Hillary Clinton is an important American, a respected part of our history. I hope she’s able to stay an important part. What she’s doing right now is not helping at all…Posted on Sunday 13 April 2008
