born again…

I’m reading all this stuff on the Internet about Obama’s "cult of competence" being tarnished and the Republicans "winning one" on Tom Daschle’s withdrawal. Boy, I must be out to lunch. I thought Obama said, "I will make mistakes," and that we wanted a "Bipartisan" government. Well, he [or some staffer] made a mistake and we have a two party system. We can lose all of those battles they want to win. Because they are probably right. It’s the other ones that matter.

Obama fielded questions about Daschle and Killefer on the News with his usual style. I just hope the guy doesn’t wear out. Rush Limbaugh is sure not going to help him:

It’s kind of remarkable that the Republicans are such attack dogs at a time like this. How easily they [want us to] forget. I know it’s just the way politics works, but it’s exhausting – which is, I guess the whole point. If you get tired of it, listen to some cool music and get born again…
