    He and Liz Cheney should team up — what with her pushing the idea that lawyers who defended Guantanimo detainees, some of whom turned out to be innocent, are “terrorist sympathizers” and shouldn’t be given jobs now in the DoJ.

    Nine former Bush administration officials, plus Lindsay Graham, Ken Starr, and Mike Mukasey have all denounced the tactics.

    I keep thinking “now they’ve gone too far.” But I guess we aren’t there yet.

    And while this grotesque clown spews his inane gibberish and earns rewards utterly disproportionate to his clowning, a boy from Hungry Horse, MT has given his life for the clown’s freedom. An insult, an utterly grievous treachery.

    DOD Identifies Army Casualty

    The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

    Pvt. Nicholas S. Cook, 19, of Hungry Horse, Mont., died March 7 in Konar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Camp Ederle, Italy.
