Recently, an attempt was made to use the comment section of this blog to advance a personal agenda and engage me in a dialogue about it, presumably based on the title of my last post – "ask your doctor…" Obviously, that title had to do with the government report on Direct to Consumer advertising, not the literal request to be asked questions about things I know nothing about. I deleted the comment. Soon came another comment accusing me of censorship ["Censorship rules! Not."]. Rather than accept the invitation for that kind of insistent dialog where I represent the other side of some argument I haven’t introduced and know nothing about, I’ve decided to censor myself instead by shutting this blog down.
