It&#8217;s part of a table of various statistics about the U.S. Attorneys. Notice the last column &#8211; <strong>FedSoc<\/strong> &#8211; which refers to membership in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fed-soc.org\/aboutus\/id.28\/default.asp\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Federalist Society<\/strong><\/a>. This is a really big deal. The <strong>Federalist Society<\/strong> is a Conservative Group operating on the level of the American Enterprise Institute and equally destructive. They are behind the drive to restructure the Supreme Court. They are the source of the Bush war-cry &quot;runaway judges&quot; &quot;legislating from the bench.&quot; To have <strong>Federalist Society<\/strong> membership as a criteria for selecting U.S. Attorneys is a blatant politicalization of the judicial branch. It&#8217;s like make membership in the Ku Klux Klan a prerequisite for City Council Membership. <\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">I&#8217;m no longer surprised that Monica Goodling is hiding behind the <strong>5<sup>th<\/sup> Amendment<\/strong>. I don&#8217;t know what they teach at Pat Robertson&#8217;s <font color=\"#000099\"><strong>Regent Law School<\/strong><\/font>, but it doesn&#8217;t have much to do with <strong>Legal Ethics<\/strong> or even <strong>basic morality<\/strong> [&quot;the ends justify the means&quot; isn&#8217;t exactly a biblical principle]&#8230;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s document dump produces this jewel from Monica Goodling.
