For over four years, I was focused on the sad state of our government and our illegal and immoral invasion of Iraq. My interest changed after Bush and Cheney got on that helicopter and flew into the sunset, but was revived when the British decided to actually look at what their government had done by joining up with the US to invade Iraq. It was called the Chilcot Inquiry, and most of the UK and a few Americans like me watched it live as officials from the entire government were paraded in front of the cameras. It was reality drama at its finest. The report is coming soon [above]. Former PM Tony Blair is going to be appropriately skewered, even though Bush and Cheney have largely been forgotten. I hope the report is at least mentioned here. They purposefully stayed away from condemning the US too much, but it’s very easy to read between the lines. The debacle of our invading Iraq does not need to be forgotten…

Chilcot points the finger at Blair over Iraq: Inquiry ‘will condemn over four key failings’ The Daily Mail UK By Daniel Martin 1st August 2011 Tony Blair is to be officially blamed over his decision to involve Britain in the disastrous Iraq War, it was reported yesterday.
