The only comments I have are obvious – "guilty" "not guilty" "unguilty" "resign" "not resign." So "I will retire and not seek reelection" has to be taken as a beta version – pending testing. Likewise, "clear my name in the Senate Ethics Committee" means what exactly? reiterate the "wide stance" defense? or maybe explain away the "not flushing the toilet" evidence? It’s all fairly silly. But I guess there is something to say about Senator Craig. It’s all I <\/strong>stuff. I<\/strong>‘m important to Idaho" because of my committee appointments. I<\/strong> am innocent. I<\/strong> need to be in the Senate to clear my name.<\/em> I doubt that the good people of Idaho would agree with him.
