Throughout the day today, I had two windows open &#8211; one watching the Hearing on MSNBC, and another scouring the Internet forums for a solution. I reinstalled this and that, cursed under my breath, lost some hair, and was generally grumpy. Finally tonight, somebody answered one of my cries for help and directed me to a place where someone had figured it out. I won&#8217;t go into what it was, but with one key-click in the right spot, it was fixed. It had to do with something delivered with spam.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The last post was written using a text editor, then inserted into the database by hand [as part of testing parts of the system trying to find out what was wrong]. But I learned something in the process. I write a very unread blog, but that doesn&#8217;t matter to me very much. I&#8217;ve said it is for my mental health, so I can unload my frustration and not carry it around all the time. What I learned today was that watching those Hearings without putting down on paper what I thought was very unsettling. As soon as that last sort of light-weight post was up, I felt less upset.<\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">I think I&#8217;m going to have to re-evaluate the old saying, &quot;If a tree falls in the forest, and no one hears it, does it make a sound?&quot; I think the answer might be closer to &quot;yes&quot; than I knew.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last night, my blogging capacity &quot;died.&quot; The Program that I&#8217;ve used since I started just stopped working.
