They&#8217;re saying what we all say when we first hear something we don&#8217;t want to hear. I don&#8217;t know how this will play out any more than anyone else, but I don&#8217;t think he needs the burden of putting on a face to help us deal with our grief about his plight. He&#8217;s done plenty enough. It&#8217;s a time to let him know how much we appreciate him and the gifts we&#8217;ve all received from him and his family. He has lived his life under a microscope and responding to our weighty expectations.
