It’s no secret that there is little love lost on the part of Democrats toward Connecticut Sen. I guess I’m one of the lucky ones. I didn’t like Lieberman back when he was a Democrat running with Gore. The only way he won in Connecticut in 96 was with Republican votes. Now, as an Independent, he’s been a total grandstander. He’s way beyond the "last straw" with me. Way beyond. Rather that spend wasted moments detailing the insignificance of Joe Lieberman, I’ll just mention one thing that he said that gets me,
"God only made one John McCain, and he is his own man."<\/strong><\/font> That’s not right. God made thousands of John McCains. 58,000 of them died in Viet Nam for no reason at all – including some of my friends. Now, George Bush, Dick Cheney, and John McCain have sent an additional 4,152 of them to an un-necessary death in Iraq.
