I see him as such a dufus. But this time, the M.O. is too pat. It&#8217;s the Iraq War replayed, with subtle variations. All of a sudden, the Market crashes because of the Mortgage Crisis. Out of the blue, it&#8217;s the worst possible thing and getting worser and worser. Then there&#8217;s a plan to fix it [on a Friday!][right before Congress resesses] and suddenly Congress has to act and pass the biggest financial bill in history with <font color=\"#300030\"><strong>NO OVERSIGHT<\/strong><\/font> by anybody about where the money goes. <font color=\"#300030\"><strong>Why?<\/strong><\/font><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s hard for me to attribute intelligent motives to George Bush.
