I’m reading all this stuff on the Internet about Obama’s "cult of competence" being tarnished and the Republicans "winning one" on Tom Daschle’s withdrawal. Boy, I must be out to lunch. I thought Obama said, "I will make mistakes," and that we wanted a "Bipartisan" government. Well, he [or some staffer] made a mistake and we have a two party system. We can lose all of those battles they want to win. Because they are probably right. It’s the other ones that matter.<\/p>\n

Obama fielded questions about Daschle and Killefer on the News with his usual style. I just hope the guy doesn’t wear out. Rush Limbaugh is sure not going to help him:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

It’s kind of remarkable that the Republicans are such attack dogs at a time like this. How easily they [want us to] forget. I know it’s just the way politics works, but it’s exhausting – which is, I guess the whole point.
