I have looked in the comments settings many times, trying to figure out what&#8217;s going on. Today I noticed something called &quot;discussion&quot; in the settings. Sure enough, the item &quot;email me when a comment is held for moderation&quot; wasn&#8217;t checked. And there was a setting that said &quot;Hold a comment in the queue if it contains 2&nbsp; or more links. [A       common characteristic of comment spam is a large number of       hyperlinks.]&quot; So I checked the box to email me for held comments and set the number of links to 8. That setting category is new, and I now recall my helpful daughter updating my software recently. I just never saw the new &quot;discussion&quot; part. My bad. If you make a comment now, it should appear promptly. And if it has more that 7 links, fear not because it will email me that the comment is there.
