As you can see Denny&#8217;s Bay has only a small inlet\/outlet. High Tide was a little after 4:00 PM.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"317\" border=\"1\" width=\"520\" src=\"http:\/\/mountainstewards.org\/images\/lubec50.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Standing on the point [green], we watched the rapids slowly disappear, then reappear going the other direction within the hour [it&#8217;s the direction thing you have to take on faith].
