Eliot]<\/sup><\/div>\n<\/ul>\n<div align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" vspace=\"5\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/1boringoldman.com\/images\/inflation5.gif\" \/><\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<div align=\"justify\">How could I let my all purpose layered econograph go another day without adding the Stock Market? I chose to add &quot;the Real DOW&quot; which is the Dow Jones Index divided by the CPI-U [to correct for Inflation]. I&#8217;ve added a <strong>CRIME SCENE<\/strong> tape to show where <strong>the dirty deed<\/strong> happened. As the <strong>Recession of 1992 <\/strong>[<strong><font color=\"#ff6600\">UNEMPLOYMENT<\/font><\/strong>] abated, Greenspan only raised the <strong><font color=\"#009900\">INTEREST RATE<\/font><\/strong> to approximately 5-6% [which is way low]. While Inflation [<strong><font color=\"#990000\">CPI-U<\/font><\/strong>]&nbsp; didn&#8217;t go up, the Stock Market [<strong><font color=\"#525252\">REAL DOW<\/font><\/strong>] headed towards the Venus and home values [<strong><font color=\"#9933ff\">CASE SHILLER INDEX<\/font><\/strong>] began their unprecedented climb towards Mars. Now that&#8217;s Inflation, and a real call to &quot;tighten&quot; the monetary supply instead of leave it &quot;loose.&quot; During that same period, Greenspan blocked <strong>Brooksley Born<\/strong>&#8216;s attempts to regulate Derivative trading. <\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"455\" vspace=\"5\" height=\"277\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/1boringoldman.com\/images\/inflation6.gif\" \/><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">As much as I love blaming Republicans for everything bad that happens, the truth is that the blood is on <strong>Alan Greenspan<\/strong>&#8216;s hands, and it happened on <strong>Bill Clinton<\/strong>&#8216;s watch&#8230;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Time present and time past Are both perhaps present in time future, And time future contained in time past.
