Suddenly, there&#8217;s a flurry about detainees and the Geneva Conventions, War with Iran, the Wiretapping Bill, and I find myself trying to figure what they&#8217;re up to. <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The choices:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Flood us with stuff to get our minds off of the midterm elections.<\/li>\n<li>Get things through the Congress before they lose control of it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div align=\"justify\">I vote for #2. I&#8217;m not sure why yet. I think it&#8217;s President Bush&#8217;s petulence and urgency. I&#8217;ll get back to you on that.
