If anything, that&#8217;s an understatement. This Administration is <u>not<\/u> Conservative in the tradition of the American Conservatives. It&#8217;s something else. They&#8217;ve borrowed the name, and coopted the votes, but they&#8217;re certainly spending, power grabbing, centralizing power like the Straw Man Liberals the Conservatives have always opposed. <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the real Conservatives that need to wake up here. We of the left can&#8217;t do it for them. They see everything we say as something of a trick. They&#8217;re going to have to wake up all by themselves and help us get these lunatics out of Washington so we can get back to our regular Liberal\/Conservative bickering. <\/p>\n<p>I never thought I&#8217;d miss them, but I do.<\/p>\n<p>For years, there was a belief that &quot;Communists&quot; were using American Liberal establishments, and occasionally, that was probably true, though nowhere near as common as the right believed.
