So, about the Oral Roberts University thing. Who is the sister-in-law with the steamy document mentioned in the lawsuit? She’s Stephanie Cantees [mis-spelled in the legal document]. She’s a Real Estate Agent in Tulsa, and the sister of Lindsay Roberts [Mrs. Richard Roberts]. She was also appointed to the City Planning Board by the Mayor. There’s a fairly complicated story about how Richard Roberts came to be involved with Tulsa politics – see local Tulsa blogger Batesline for comments in January and February 2006 and more recently. As for the email that Professor Booker sent out recruiting students for a political campaign, it’s here [and below]:
Recall that Stephanie Cantees is the author of the incriminating document purloined from her computer hard disk by a student that apparently outlines all sorts of things about the Roberts’ family antics – including gross financial mismanagement of O.R.U. funds, and innuendos of sexual misbehaving by her sister, Lindsay.
