sisters…

Stephanie CanteesSo, about the Oral Roberts University thing. Who is the sister-in-law with the steamy document mentioned in the lawsuit? She’s Stephanie Cantees [mis-spelled in the legal document]. She’s a Real Estate Agent in Tulsa, and the sister of Lindsay Roberts [Mrs. Richard Roberts]. She was also appointed to the City Planning Board by the Mayor. There’s a fairly complicated story about how Richard Roberts came to be involved with Tulsa politics – see local Tulsa blogger Batesline for comments in January and February 2006 and more recently. As for the email that Professor Booker sent out recruiting students for a political campaign, it’s here [and below]:

Recall that Stephanie Cantees is the author of the incriminating document purloined from her computer hard disk by a student that apparently outlines all sorts of things about the Roberts’ family antics – including gross financial mismanagement of O.R.U. funds, and innuendos of sexual misbehaving by her sister, Lindsay.

And what’s going on between these sisters? Not yet clear…

Subject: Attention All Campaigners

Attention All Campaigners

Our ORU reputation has been challenged!!! President Roberts has thrown his support behind Randi Miller for Mayor of Tulsa. The opposition has been quoted as saying that “ORU is a paper tiger” and “they can’t deliver what’s needed to win this race.”. Well guess what, we need to show them just what we CAN deliver.

There are only 50 days until the primary election and we need EVERYONE OF YOU!
There will be team leader positions available along with lots of responsibilities. We have a terrific head quarters to work out of and a caring candidate who will take care of her volunteers.
We need you, and we need you now. Come sign up in the Government office as soon as possible. We have activates starting as early as THIS Wednesday!

I just found your site and have found nothing boring on it,yet.
How could you be boring when you live in the Ga. woods.
I live in the Fl. “forest” according to my liberal, well educated,California native(but well loved)daughter in law.
