what does it mean…

What does it mean that every blogger is writing about Cheney and his A.E.I. friends are probably going to bomb Iran? I wonder how many Americans think that’s a good idea, bombing Iran? I wonder how many of us believe that what the Administration says about Iran is true? I wonder how many of us think that it’s another W.M.D. in Iraq ploy? I, for one, want to go on record as saying, "I don’t want us to bomb Iran!"

But, mostly, what does it mean that a few lunatics that got elected in Washington have the power to do that? The Constitution is pretty clear on starting wars. The power to declare war belongs to the Congress. So, why are we in a position to think that a couple of out of control guys, answering to a small group of intellectuals who seem to be confused about which country we’re in, are dead set on effecting Israel’s foreign policy and bombing Iran?

I don’t know the answer to that question, but as I said in my last post, the man to impeach is Dick Cheney. He’s certainly done enough to deserve it – outing Plame, directing Libby, controlling Bush, negating Congress with "Signing Statements," openly saying that neither what the people want or what Congress wants can stop him. To hell with Bush. Left to his own devices, he’s not a problem. Cheney’s the problem – in the world.

I’d like to go on record with you. Let’s get rid of Cheney and not bomb anyone.
