grrr…

I found this Press Statement absolutely infuriating – more than most. Who is this silly man to make an accusation that Gonzales “good name was dragged through the mud?” Alberto Gonzales has agreed to invent legal rationalizations for Presidential behavior that often verges on criminal. If there’s any such accusation to make, we are the ones that have been dragged through the mud by this puppet!
I’m trying to stop ranting every time Bush opens his mouth, but he’s making it hard. He has not earned the right to say this kind of thing in a public forum. He has no idea what it means to be a President. Alberto Gonzales has been a loyal lackey, not even a lawyer – much less a White House Counsel or an Attorney General. Torture’s fine.Eavesdropping is fine. Republicanizing the DOJ is fine. Giving away hiring and firing powers to junior staff is fine. Bullshitting Congress is fine. Trying to get his predecessor to sign papers in extremis is fine. Like Rumsfeld, Feith, and Rove, Alberto Gonzales should be marching off to prison instead of riding into the sunset.
My father had a saying that comes to mind. “I don’t mind your peeing in my boot, but don’t tell me it’s water.”

That is the George W Bush rationalization of the AG Gonzales affair. He doesn’t realize how outrageous his statement of the whole mess Fredo helped create because he doesn’t much bother reading inconvenient facts and stories about how bad things are going outside his little bubble. Remember when Katrina hit and he was telling everybody what a heck of a job Brownie was doing as the head of Fema? Well. his former close aid who was always on TV getting Bush out of little messes Dan Bartlett (who also is from the Texas gang that helped get him in the WH) also left the WH recently. If you read about him, you might want to put him in the picture collage. He was this somewhat attractive cleancut blond haired guy. Bartlett had to show Bush a VCR tape of the Katrina mess to convince him that things were actually terrible in New Orleans. Bush needs what my Dad use to call the TV the boob tube to get the message and he won’t watch any channel that isn’t Fox News. He is certainly a poor excuse of a president. Think about it, we have George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Abraham Lincoln and then we have George W Bush not necessarily in order but you get what I mean. If the kids had the SAT test question where they had to pick out what is wrong with this presidents sentence, we all know what the correct answer would be.( All except W)

Dan Bartlett ” pushed reporters to pursue who sent Joe Wilson to Niger” according to the Wikipedia encyclopedia and he was reported to be Bush longest political aid when he left the WH. Check out Larry Johnson’s web site about the Sunday NYTimes magazine article on the Generals and the Iraq war plus Larry has Valerie Plame Wilson’s book cover FAIR GAME which you can order from his site via Amazon.
