I guess that this list from the New York Times is accurate. I wish it contained either Senator Chris Dodd [Connecticut] or Senator Sheldon Whitehouse [Rhode Island].

I don’t have any thoughts about what my preferences bring to the "electability" table, but they’re honest, right-thinking, and smart. All are Presidential material and would "work with" Obama. But I expect Obama has to think a lot more about about electability than I do…

Boy, I’m really disappointed it isn’t Dodd. I have a friend who retired from one if not the biggest oil company and he was very high up the ladder when he left and I emailed asking him what I asked you about Dodd and his response was that he loved the guy. I was shocked by his enthusiasm. My friend also said that he didn’t know anyone who had anything bad to say about Dodd but then he said that Biden was OK but he has a BIG MOUTH is how he expressed it on line. My friend said Obama would win the nomination long before anyone else felt he would. Oh by the way I’ve been very impressed with the new Senator from Rhode Island Sheldon Whitehouse. He gives me hope that there really are a few good men in the senate.

Excellent links, M. I’m looking at Sam Nunn right now, for the first time. Thanks

My friend predicts that LIEberman will be McCain’s choice and that Hiliary will muscle her way into the Dem’s. #1 spot. God Help America.
