right on…

Now here’s an interesting take on things. When I first overheard it coming from the other room, I thought it was a Saturday Night Live skit or something from The Daily Show. No, it turned out to be Campbell Brown on CNN. While most of think that, given an open format, Sarah might fall flat on her face, Campbell Brown is exactly right. Treating her with kid gloves is sexist. It proves that she was chosen to get the female or gun owner or Evangelical vote, but it’s disrespectful to her [and us]. Let her talk. Otherwise, don’t pick her…

I used to like reporter Campbell Brown for her honest reporting on NBC but then it seemed after awhile she was acting like everybody else as if her head was in the sand. I stopped watching her after a while and when I read that she married Dan Senor a Republican operative and that he had been former Viceroy Paul Bremer’s number 2 man in Iraq I thought that love might have covered her honest reporter eyes with blinders. Saying what she sees and reporting it is the old Campbell Brown. Who knows maybe she will be the modern day Helen Thomas.

Oh that’s awesome! Way to go Campbell Brown. I completely agree. Women in the workforce are subject to the same requirements as men, so how is Sarah Palin any different? Just because she is pretty and not so smart doesn’t mean she gets a pass.
