Did the saw blade break?
They say the blade is stuck. No progress since I left off last night…
2:00 PM They’ve taken the saw off of the BOP…
Are they taking it topside for a new blade, or maybe another saw, or is BP giving up and heading for Rio?
I think they’re pulling it up and all this pocket of nastiness is what it’s like when you approach the surface…
Meanwhile, down below…
4:00 PM Something kind of strange happened an hour ago. There was stuff falling off of the saw and the other vehicle riding up with it. It looked like ice. The muddy stuff on the saw melted into a cloud. They turned the swa on and the wheels on the left rotated, but not the ones on the right [I can’t see a blade]. Had it frozen down there at 5000 feet? I had to answer the door and stop watching, now what they’re showing is robot arms doing who-knows-what [looks like practice tying knots]…
The saw is coming into play again [note the depth]…
