That last post ["my faith"] didn’t get at the depth of my feeling on the topic. If I’m advocating Mel Gibson come clean with his feelings, I guess I should take my own advice. I’m up to here and beyond with the Christians, the Jews, and the Moslems of the world. Religion is a private matter. It’s about a person’s individual relationship with God, the Universe, one’s self. Public religion is destroying the world right now. The Christian takeover of Washington is a disaster. The Jewish/Moslem wars in the Middle East are taking the world’s attention away from much more pressing issues.
So, I’m anti-religion_in_government until the end of time. It’s been a disaster from the get-go. I’ve got an idea! Let’s have a separation of church and state[s]…
